Debba HaupertSpeaking – Debba Haupert, Girlfriendology Founder, Speaker on Social Media & Women’s Friendship

A Passion for a Passionate Life

Debba Haupert has learned more than a few things about herself in life, but probably none more fundamental than she won’t live a life without passion. Her unending, passionate gratitude for her friends originally inspired and continues to fuel Girlfriendology, the online community for women based on female friendship. Established in 2006, Girlfriendology has grown through embracing any and every venue to share Debba’s passion. Debba describes her focus on social media as “an addiction – in a good way.”

Debba skillfully uses social media to share the word about Girlfriendology and the benefits of female friendship. Her high level of engagement in the social media world has also given her a way-above-average knowledge base from which to inspire and educate others about these hot new tools for Marketing and how they can build any brand and share any passion.

Rooted in 20+ years of corporate marketing and presentation development experience, along with over 250 on-camera demonstrations (on HGTV, QVC, PBS, and others), Debba truly enjoys inspiring and informing audiences on a variety of female-focused and social media-focused topics. With meaningful examples and stories, Debba works tirelessly to create informative, educational and inspirational presentations to ‘inspire and inform’ small groups and large audiences. Following her passion for a passionate life, Debba speaks primarily on two topics: FEMALE FRIENDSHIP and SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING.

SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING – for female/male audiences

  • Effectively Grow and Manage Your Online Community – Community is great – it can create brand ambassadors and bring a large audience to your brand. But it can also be a challenge to manage. Debba combines her marketing savvy with her skillful use of social media in exploring ways to grow and foster a positive community. (Example: 9 Ways to Grow/Manage your Facebook Community.)
  • Marketing your Blog, Brand or Business with Pinterest – Pinterest is the NEW, BIG BUZZ in Social Media. It is generating more referral traffic than Google+, LinkedIn and YouTube COMBINED. How can you used this visual social media platform to compete, build influence and brand your business? Debba shares the successful strategies to marketing your business on Pinterest. (Also, 25 Ways to be More Repinnable!)
  • How to use Social Media to Build Your Brand – Social Media offers a wonderful opportunity to build your brand to your clients/customers/connection. How? Statistics like “85% of fortune 500 companies engage in social media marketing.” Your customers and competitors are using Social Media, shouldn’t you be?

FEMALE FRIENDSHIP – for female audiences

  • Why do you really NEED Girlfriends? – Research proves that females NEED a close group of female friends, and that girlfriends make us all healthier, happier, less stressed, live longer and yes, even feel more beautiful. Debba will explore some amazing facts and stories that will inspire your audience to be the girlfriends we’d all love to have.
  • How Female Friendship can Transform your Community – Debba loves her neighborhood, her community, and her city. She loves it because she works hard every day to make it better. In this presentation, Debba will explore how women and their community friendships can transform a city through a circle of influence. She’ll share ideas on how to build into your girlfriends and your community and city simultaneously.

Debba is available for speaking engagements for small and large groups. Please contact info(at)Girlfriendology.com to request more information or to submit your event request. Here’s what Debba’s clients/audiences have said about her:

Friendship Girlfriendology Biz AdDebba delivered keynote addresses on both days of the conference and made her way around that conference oozing friendliness and leaving confidence with EVERY SINGLE PERSON in her wake.  She was with a different group of people nearly every time I looked up, but each person was somehow getting QUALITY time.  How she did this I might never know! — Debba spoke about building brands and building tribes/communities for our blogs and backed up her information with some serious research.  And she should know.  She’s done it.  For REAL!” (More)

Comments from Erma Bombeck Writer’s Conference attendee evaluations: “Debba is truly amazing – very well prepared; lots of useful information.” “Debba was really informative about how important it is to use Social Media to your advantage.”

“We were thrilled when Debba accepted our invitation to present at New Media Cincinnati’s second Saturday Event in February 2011. We were even more thrilled after her presentation of ‘Building Your Online Community’! Debba wrapped her arms around the topic, as she does with Girlfriendology, and enlightened the group of 60+ people with her insights, personal experience and valuable suggestions. Her 10 Tips for Building Your Online Community were orchestrated with ease and the attendees were busy taking notes and tweeting her tips. I highly recommend engaging Debba. She is a strategic business woman, an experienced social media strategist and a talented speaker.” Anne Castleberry, Talent Acquisition Specialist

“I had the pleasure of moderating a Social Media panel that Debba spoke at on the subject of ‘Community Building.’ Debba is knowledgeable, savvy and relates well to a large audience. I continue to be impressed with her high energy level and the way she takes on every project with enthusiasm and passion.” Carole Baker, OH Social

“Debba gets it. All of it. From business to business marketing, to relationship building to creating and sustaining virile buzz around her brand Girlfriendology (which as a brand is a stroke of brilliance and masterful marketing all by itself). Debba knows her audience intimately as well. She lives it, breathes it and is passionate about what women need and want in their collective lives. Her background in marketing only helps boost her passion for this group of women. Debba makes you want to love what she does because she is overflowing with enthusiasm and positive energy. She smart, tactical, fun, fresh and just a joy and inspiration to be around as a business partner.” Chris Graves, Digital Content Development Manager, Enquirer Media

“Debba was asked to speak about friendship at a fund-raising event for 180 women and knocked their socks off! She shared a high-energy, thought-provoking speech that gave the women clear directives on how to be a better friend in today’s world. Debba spoke with authority and humor and clearly has the expertise to present information about women’s friendship and women’s use of social media. Thanks Debba … you helped make our event a HUGE success!” Kim Beach, Directory Mariemont Athletic Boosters

“Debba’s presentation to our WE Lead Alumni group last night was both insightful and refreshing. It’s easy to take our girlfriends for granted and Debba led a discussion about the importance of maintaining contact with our current girlfriends and how we can use our networks to make Cincinnati an even better place to live. Debba is a great speaker and by engaging the audience, she created a truly memorable event.” Christine Carleton, The Asset Advisory Grou
