Do you have an attitude of gratitude? Are you feeling grateful, thankful, blessed? Let’s talk about that …
Veteran’s Day … thankful for the brave women and men who have fought for our freedom, for the friends and family who have sacrificed their beloved to keep us safe and for the leaders who watch out over us. It’s a good time to remember that #LifeIsGood – right?
Thanksgiving … thankful for the pilgrims and travelers, the brave and the (sorry to say it, but possibly true) stupid who got on boats and found there way here. Grateful for the tradition they started of being appreciative of the little things in life … a little corn, a small bird to feast on, a warm hut to sleep in. Things we now take for granted – it’s great to be reminded to be grateful.

We’ve been thinking about Girlfriend Gratitude a lot this month – and our gratefulness for all the blessings in our lives – freedom, our rights to go/do as we please, for safety and a warm home. Girlfriendology Update – Remembering Past and Present Friends

It’s Veterans Day this week …
The day set aside to remember those in the past and present who have given their lives and limbs, time away from their family and friends, and struggled to stand up for our freedom. That’s pretty powerful.
What’s powerful too are the women in our past and present who share their lives with each other, who support and encourage other women, who make sure we never stand alone. Those are powerful friendships.
It’s important to acknowledge those friends who have had a difference in our lives, who where there for us when we needed them – whether we knew it at the time or not. It’s humbling to consider the women who cared for the women who now care for us – who passed on their legacy of supportive, inspiring women; who taught their daughters the importance of female friendship and now their dear daughters are our dear friends.
