Sunday is National Women’s Friendship Day. Started in 1999 by Kappa Delta, this day is set aside to reflect on the appreciation and celebration of friendship. It reminds us to be grateful for girlfriends and to spend some time with the women (or girls) or make life healthier, happier and lots more fun.
Here in Cincinnati, we’re holding a “Women who Wine” event (where we’ll bottle our own wine as well as enjoy wine, snacks, gift bags and lots of prizes!) on Sunday – 1-3pm, Tino Vino (3665 Erie Ave). Join us as we celebrate friendships with our girlfriends and a really great event!
Regardless of where you are, if you’re reading this, you’re thankful for your friends. Celebrate National Women’s Friendship Day by doing something special for your girlfriends. Send them a card, make them a gift, even write a thoughtful email and send it with a picture of the two of you or make plans to get together.
