Spring, Summer & Lake Wobegon – Seasons of Friendship

It’s been a quiet week in Lake Wobegon. (AKA: Girlfriendology)
Last week I was away at BWENY (BlogWorldExpo – a social media conference in NYC) and while my go-to-gal (& assistant) Judi was a busy girl, I was stuck in conferences and meetings – and the worst thing (at no fault of BWE’s, the Javits isn’t great for connectivity!) … often without wifi or cell phone access! So, not a lot happened in the land of Girlfriendology.com ): (But lots of good things are coming!)
Okay, so we had our daily quotes (which seems to be very ‘like-able’ on Facebook), links to popular Girlfriendology posts and our daily ‘girlfriend video lunch break’ (again, another favorite of our 16,000+ female Facebook friends). So we did manage to stay in touch, like good girlfriends do.

Restless? Cabin fever? Or just needing some girlfriend porch time?
Yesterday I watched crows work desperately to frighten off a hawk from threatening their nests. Then I waited for a ’round’ robin (no doubt a expectant mom) to make her way across my lawn. This morning, I was awoken by perhaps that same robin or other flying friends of hers, to a choir of chirping that to me sounded like they were saying “Spring is coming!”
