Girlfriends by land or by sea (:
Day 3 of the girlfriend cruise: we’re still at sea, on our way to Bermuda. The seas were a bit rocky last evening/night (thankful for Dramamine & for my girlfriend Joan bringing ginger tablets). Today is gorgeous & Joan and I met another Joan on the boat who, with her sister, will join our group of girlfriends.
We had a girlfriends happy hour last night where I was able to give the women their Girlfriendology goodie bags. I loved their happy response to the bag, hat and GFF stickers. Fun to run into them on the boat today sporting their Girlfriendology gear.
Janet DeVito is our cruise director and, as you’d expect, is a ‘walking party!’ she has girlfriend treats for us like girlfriend-y wine glasses and pool ‘noodles’ for our trip to Horseshoe Bay tomorrow (which I’ve heard has beautiful pink-sand beaches – perfect for our great girlfriend group!).
Tonight is another girlfriend happy hour, dinner and (for the late crowd) dancing or at least people watching for a ‘Dancing with the Stripes’ show (assume the dancers from the cast perform).
Tomorrow we land in Bermuda at 8:30 then it’s beach time (and, for ‘boring’ me, some quality Internet cafe time to get some work done. Then we’ll celebrate Best Friends Day with our new best friends!
