Content is King – Secrets of the Mountain TV movie

On the internet, ‘content is king‘ (or ‘queen’ in our female world on Girlfriendology!).
Google/search loves fresh content. SEO standings and web site rankings are determined by the activity and display of content. Online communications (websites and social media tools like blogs, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube) are all about content. It’s what defines us – for example, our content on Girlfriendology is all based on inspiring women, and creating an online community of women who appreciate and support each other. Content is king – online.
But we don’t think about content defining us when it comes to the media. TV shows and movies aren’t ranked or rewarded for their integrity, educational value or positive sentiment. Nielsen doesn’t give bonus points for having a quality message, non-gratuitous behavior or non-reality-based, quality conflict-resolution skills.
As a girlfriend recommendation (because that’s what girlfriends do when they find something quality-based – we share it with our friends!), I just found out about a new TV movie and ‘movement’ for Family Movie Night. “Secrets of the Mountain” is a made-for-TV movie (with potential to become a series) that is based on quality content.
