The statistics are staggering: one of every eight of us will be diagnosed with breast cancer. Almost all of us have been touched by the disease in one way or another.
The GREAT news is that with early detection and improved treatment, women are beating this disease, living long, wonderful, joyful lives. On this last day of October, we celebrate all the mothers (Love you, Mom!), daughters, sisters, cousins, aunts, and nieces who are survivors. We are humbled by your courage and strengthened by your determination, and we are honored to be your girlfriends.
