Most of us would like to believe that peer pressure ended somewhere around the time we left high school. We like to believe we’re our own person, we make our own decisions, and we do things because they are good for us to do, not because someone else is doing them.
Then we look in the mirror and laugh at ourselves. Of course we make some decisions because they are good for us; but we also make decisions to try some things because other people are trying it.
That can be a wonderful thing–like trying a new food, trying a new social media platform (Pinterest, anyone?), or attending a new exercise class.
