Sex, Gifts and Food – why not?!

It’s the holidays and we’re having some girlfriend conversations …

… like what gifts to get our girlfriends? What foodie advice our girlfriends can share that will make our holidays not so hectic? And even, how’s your sexual health, girlfriend?

Be a better friend – in the Highs and Lows

Ever have one of those weeks? HIGH highs and LOW lows – and everything in between?

Last week my DH (aka: ‘dear husband’) was out of town. My plan was to diet, exercise and do lots of work. Reality: I did pretty well on my eating healthy (he wasn’t around to spoil me with carbs!) and got the treadmill in a few times as well as a bunch of dog walks. I did work lots but maybe not quite as much as I anticipated.

Why not? My girlfriends. I had a happy hour with Tina, Becky and Lynn. (High high) Wine on the porch with Anne. Another happy hour with the Cincinnati.com LOL Bloggers (thanks Chris & co.!). I had meeting with Bridgett and went to a movie with Penny. All HIGH highs. It was a wonderful way to enjoy the week by reconnecting with so many of my favorite females.

Girlfriendology 101: Female Friendships (that’s what we vote for!)

Good girlfriends stay in touch – right? Here at Girlfriendology we’re trying to practice what we preach and stay in touch with you through our weekly newsletter. And, we’re starting a new DAILY newsletter called “Girlfriend Secrets” with specials, sites and surprises. You know, the kind of ’stuff that you love to share with girlfriends. Sign up and stay in touch!

Here in the mid-west, election fever is growing. Being a swing state, about every commercial is political and we’re really ready for the election to be over! Aren’t you?

Not be belittle politics, but we’re (thankfully!) not about that. We’re about friendships. The relationships that hopefully remove some of the partisan politics and get back to the friendship.

So, girlfriends, consider this the only Girlfriendology political statement - just go vote! Speak up with your ballot. Exercise the rights we’re so blessed to have in this country. And, then let’s go back to being friends and focusing on each day of celebrating the women in our lives who love us no matter what.

That’s our party of choice!
