New Years Friendship Resolutions | Be a Better Friend | Friendship Circle
January 5, 2012 – 10:27 am
Make 2012 the year that you become a better friend!
The reason most people never reach their goals is that they don’t define them, or ever seriously consider them as believable or achievable. Winners can tell you where they are going, what they plan to do along the way, and who will be sharing the adventure with them.

What would happen if women all supported each other?
October 17, 2011 – 10:52 pm
What would happen if … all women looked for the good in other women? … every woman felt enabled to go after her dreams because she had too many women to count, counting on her doing so? … we all felt as strong as an army of amazing females?
It’s a pretty fabulous idea … women supporting women. Not talking behind their backs or secretly hoping they’d fail so we’d somehow feel bigger or better ourselves. Women encouraging each other, inspiring other women, teaching and sharing, then celebrating our Read More »

December 31, 2010 – 1:38 pm
STOP! Look back over 2010. What did you accomplish? Overcome? Move forward on? What dreams did you reach or position yourself to in 2011?
December 31, 2010 – each year that passes allows us an opportunity to assess the previous 12 months for our goals, achievements, lessons, wins and even losses. We’re in that frame of mind today and jotted down a few milestones in 2010, a few fond memories and more than a few friends who helped us along the way. So, here’s our top friends and accomplishments for 2010. Thanks for joining us on the journey and for making 2011 look shiny and full of opportunities!
1. Facebook and Twitter Friends - Our female Facebook friends grew to 13,000+ in 2010. (We were at 1700 last January 1st. Yes – we delete men!) Our Twitter followers (with just men who are friends or industry influencers) is nearing 21,000. On a daily basis we’re getting 40,000-80,000 daily post views – which is awesome! Lessons from a Month of Friendship
October 1, 2010 – 1:24 pm
It’s been a great Month of Friendship here on Girlfriendology!
We’ve worked together with our Friendship Circle girlfriends and their blogs to celebrate friendship. And we’ve counted down 30 days and 30 ways to reconnect with old friends, meet new friends and, in general, be a better friend.
Research* shows that it takes 21-days to form or change a habit. (*okay, not sure who’s research, but I’ve always heard this!) So, 30 days mean we should be experts at ‘friendship,’ right? Not necessarily.
The dynamics of friendship are always changing. We connect, stay in touch – or don’t. Our lives change, our routines get out of routine; our children, relationships, jobs are always evolving. It’s no wonder Read More »

September 2, 2010 – 7:12 pm
How are your friendships, girlfriend?
Just like other relationships, sometimes we have to work at things to keep them fresh. Girlfriends Dawn and Tina from Girlfriend Celebrations are today’s guest bloggers for our Month of Friendship (with our fabulous Friendship Circle!). And they’ve got some great girlfriend advice on … Read More »

Month of Friendship: Needing new Friends is Normal!
August 31, 2010 – 1:33 pm
Do you have friends nearby? Do you need some new friends in your life?
It’s so important to have a support system of friends. So important! While online and long distance friends are amazing, sometimes you just need to go have a glass of wine or get a manicure together with your ‘bestie’ (BFF). What happens when your BFF is across the country? Is that normal to need new friends?
It’s September and we’re celebrating the Month of Friendship with some of our girlfriends, like SHASTA NELSON who share this inspiration with us on what’s the norm when it comes to friends. Enjoy!
Needing New Friends is Normal!
When I moved to San Francisco, I had an amazing circle of friends spread across the country but soon realized that as much as I loved Facebook and my iPhone—I certainly didn’t want Read More »

Friendship Month – Celebrate with the Friendship Circle!
August 30, 2010 – 10:03 am
Admit it. We love to celebrate holidays.
Some because we get the day off work (thank you Presidents Lincoln and Washington), some out of respect (Labor Day and Memorial Day), some based on relationships like Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. We show our love on Valentine’s Day, our gratitude on Thanksgiving and our history on the 4th of July. We even go so far as to recognize our passions with National Ice Cream Month and Rubber Duckie Day, our fears – National Mold Awareness Month (yikes!) and pretend everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day.
We’ve got a holiday for just Read More »
