I love the Olympics. I love the energy of people who are passionate about life and what they do. I love the diversity and kinship of people from various countries connecting and competing. Daily Inspiration: Light a Candle Girlfriend …

That’s one of the wonderful benefits of girlfriends. (And one of the reasons we started Girlfriendology.) Women sharing with women is a wonderful thing. We learn so much from each other – from silly stuff like make-up tips and shoe sales, to important things like how to take care of a sick child or an aging parent. Thankfully, as long as we have female friends, we pass along knowledge like sharing a flame to light a million candles.

My dog smiles. Big, goofy, friendly, furry smiles that reach from ear-to-ear. (Photo is him after playing in the mud!) And, every time I notice it, it makes me smile too. Canine grins, at least to me, are completely contagious!
