One of my first trips with my husband included a drive across Texas. It was a sunny, memorable day as a beautiful bird floated gracefully above the road ahead of us. Down the road, another bird graced us with her ‘air show’ and hence, we began noticing the aerial ‘angels’ watching over us. To this day, we still notice when birds seem to watch ahead for us and often point up and say, “There’s our friend.”

I love that saying. Actually, I love it so much, and think it is so true, that I put it on my dining room wall (above).
That’s partly why I love the whole concept of female friendship. Passing time with our friends is what life is really about. Spending special moments in each others’ company creates friendships and makes memories.
