We know we shouldn’t. We know we really, really shouldn’t. But those shoes are soooo cute, and the credit card is just burning a hole right through our wallet. Bam! Proud owner of fabulous new shoes/purse/dress/camera (fill in the blank with your own personal weakness).
And we enjoy those shoes (or whatever). We really, really do. Our friends admire them, we feel great wearing them, and then BAM! the credit card bill arrives and somehow we don’t feel quite as great anymore.

When it comes to marriage, we know that there is a lot of ground between being interested in someone and getting married to them. Hey Girlfriend, if you’re like many of us, it’s been a while since you sent a card to a friend. Here are five great reasons to pick up a pen, find a stamp, and use snail mail to be a better girlfriend.
Think about it: How do you feel when you go to the mail box? Do you feel that little jolt of expectation? That little hint of anticipation that something fabulous might be there waiting for you? And then are you thoroughly disappointed with the pile of bills, circulars, and junk mail you actually receive?
