Girlfriendology & Single Minded Women – Women Joining Forces!
Cold, dark, rainy and way too early, at 5:30am each weekday morning 100+ women meet up in a parking lot near my home to work out in a “Bootcamp” for just women. Created by trainer Brian Calkins, he says he works just with women because they’re more collaborative, not competitive like men. (And, at 5:30 in the morning, no one wants to have to out-do anyone!)
Women are collaborative, supportive and often cheerleaders for each other. Thankfully this is part of our nature and a wonderful benefit to having girlfriends.
Recently I met some ‘girlfriends’ from another online community for women. I’m passionate about female friendship. They’re passionate about single women. But both of us understand the amazing power of working together, so we are. I’d like you to introduce you to my girlfriends’ site:
Single Minded Women.com, is the premier lifestyle web community devoted exclusively to the needs of single women. Offering practical advice, SingleMindedWomen.com contains vital information every single woman can use to enhance her lifestyle. Whether single by choice or circumstance, women ranging in ages from 25-54; and from a variety of backgrounds will find inspirational ideas and how-to examples that enable them to improve their “single life”. Stop by Single Minded Women and explore all the articles, blogs and fun features of their site. Watch for some fun contests and content between us. Women collaborating is powerful!
And, while you’re at it, what girlfriend could you collaborate with? Who among your friends is following her dream that you could assist or at least cheer on? Share your thoughts. Together we can inspire, appreciate and celebrate girlfriends!
