The Girlfriend Picture Project
A picture is worth a thousand words. Touching images of families and friends enjoying memories together. Each captures a moment in time when people connect and acknowledge their bond in a treasured photo.
You and your girlfriends can express and celebrate your friendship in a thousand words (or less!) through a story submitted for THE GIRLFRIEND PICTURE PROJECT - an opportunity to have your favorite female friendships featured forever!
THE GIRLFRIEND PICTURE PROJECT is an initiative created by Girlfriendology.com, the online community for women based on female friendship. Stories about female friends are being submitted to Girlfriendology.com for consideration for the Project. Those stories selected will be sent information and a gerbera daisy (the icon for Girlfriendology) for a photo to be taken of the girlfriends. This picture will be featured along with the girlfriend story in an upcoming book and calendar that will spotlight you and your girlfriend(s) in a compilation of great girlfriend stories.
To participate in THE GIRLFRIEND PICTURE PROJECT, send us a story of your friendship and why your girlfriend(s) mean so much to you. Share stories of special times with your female friends and how they’ve been there for you, made you laugh, listened and any touching (or funny!) girlfriend stories.
Submit your story to info (at) girlfriendology (dot) com. Submissions will become the property of Girlfriendology and have your permission to share your story on our website and communications. We’ll contact you if your story is seleted for the Project (but all girlfriend stories are treasured so we’ll feature as many as possible on the website, etc.). Deadline: September 30, 2008. (But the earlier, the better!)
