I’ve worked in a variety of corporate roles – starting with a newspaper-GIRL and moving on up to Bank VP, from Craft author to QVC presenter. The quote above struck me because I don’t recall being treated as a partner often in the corporate world. Companies don’t generally work that way – and isn’t it too bad? What amazing things could be accomplished if we enlisted others, as partners, to help reach goals and achieve amazing results together?!

Shift now to running my business, Girlfriendology LLC, based on my passion (and some might say ‘obsession’!) to inspiring women to be better friends and to promote female friendship for the fabulous benefits it offers women – like being healthier, happier, less stressed, live longer and feel more beautiful.

That’s why this month’s book club sponsor, Healthy Choice, is a great partner. As a friend, I want my girlfriends to be around (and healthy) for a long time – right?
