HOPE Sings – Share the song with a friend
“HOPE is a thing with feathers, that perches in the soul & sings the tune without words & never stops at all.”
One of my first trips with my husband included a drive across Texas. It was a sunny, memorable day as a beautiful bird floated gracefully above the road ahead of us. Down the road, another bird graced us with her ‘air show’ and hence, we began noticing the aerial ‘angels’ watching over us. To this day, we still notice when birds seem to watch ahead for us and often point up and say, “There’s our friend.”
HOPE is that kind of friend. Out of the blue it can guide our path and give a feeling of security and peaceful guidance. HOPE is that song in our spirit that plays when we’re scared or alone. HOPE is the gentle hug from a friend whether beside you or sending you comfort from miles away.
Sometimes HOPE is all we have. There’s probably a girlfriend you know who needs to look up and see HOPE circling around her, singing to her soul and never stopping. Reach out to her. Share some HOPE.
Be that kind of friend. Because life really is better, together with your girlfriends!
