I love my friend Judi. She is smart, very sassy, funny and always there for me. She’s beautiful, inside and out. But you might not know that from her photo on her social media bios. I don’t know if she is waiting to lose weight or get a new hair style, if she wants professional make-up or a magic wand of some sort. (And, to be honest, she doesn’t need any of the above!)

She’s much prettier than she was 10+ years ago when her photo was taken. Sure, she was younger (we all were) but she has so much more personality than that photo displays. She has 10 years of love, laughter and lessons as well as years of memories with her children, kisses from her husband and hugs from her friends.

Being her friend and knowing that she’s be open to my honesty, I’d told her: It’s time to get a current photo on her bio. (Which she agrees, I’m right. We’re still waiting on that new photo!)

Judi can face the truth. Can you?

Maybe that’s a good place to start a conversation with a friend. What do you need to face, to be able to face the future with the truth, passion and hope that you so want to have?

Face it girlfriend, your friends love you and they want the best for you. Of course, they’d be there for you if you need to talk. Remember, life is better together with our girlfriends!
