It’s a Wonderful Life (our version!)

I’ve had bad job reviews, been ‘let go,’ and had my heart broken a few times. I’ve invested poorly, made bad decisions and said things I wish I could take back. I’ve questioned my dreams and doubted my abilities. I, like I assume others, have felt like a failure.

While those feelings are real and overwhelming, I’ve never doubted that my friends see something in me that I don’t. They hold me up when I’m afraid. They see the value I bring to their lives, even when it is hidden from me.

I know this because they tell and show me. I also know this because I too see how amazing they are even when they may feel like a failure.

Girlfriend, I hope you never feel like a failure. I pray you see your beauty like your friends view whenever they think of you. And, I hope you remember that no woman is a failure who has friends.

Be the friend you’d love to have. Show your friends how much they mean to you. And remember … life really is better together with your girlfriends!
