Monday, December 21, 2009 The conspiracy!

Dear Girlfriend,
My husband’s friend thinks all phones and car tracking systems constantly relay our whereabouts to the government. In his world, it’s a conspiracy and he’s not too happy about it.
Conspiracies are out there, no doubt, but why are they always a bad thing? Can’t we conspire to do good? As friends, shouldn’t we conspire on behalf of our friends?
What would happen if we all decided to conspire to make our friend’s lives better? How much impact could we make if we chose to engage in a conspiracy of love, support and friendship? Not only could we make amazing things happen, but we’d be a source of inspiration for our children, friends and strangers. Plus, wouldn’t it just be fun?!
It’s the perfect season to try it. Conspire on the behalf of your friends. Leave her a little gift or note. Forego gossip to pass along great news and compliments about a friend. ‘Kidnap’ her for a manicure or coffee date. Surprise her with a party or get-together to celebrate your friendship.
Engage in a conspiracy of love. Be the friend you’d love to have, because … life really is better, together with your girlfriends!
Happy Monday!
