| Dear Girlfriend,
Our first Christmas after college, my friend Paula and I lived far from home and on very limited budgets. We still wanted to express our friendship through sharing gifts. So, we cut out images of items we would have given each other if our income matched our appreciation for being friends.
After all, the dollar value of the gift doesn’t equal the value of the relationship, right?
Maybe you’re stressed over finances or all the gifts you still have to buy. Perhaps your schedule doesn’t leave much room for spending time with the people who matter so much to you. Remember what this season is really about – love. Show your friends how much they mean to you with simple, silly or sweet expressions of true friendship – a thoughtful gesture, kind words, a powerful hug. Just show them
how much you love them. You can’t put a ribbon or value on friendship – it’s the gift that lives between you and your friends all year round.
At the holidays and throughout the year – life really is better together with your girlfriends!

Did I tell you how beautiful you look today?
 Don’t you love girlfriends?! They give the nicest compliments, brighten your cloudy days and make you forget whatever may have frustrated or angered you. (They also make us healthier, happier, less stressed, live longer and feel more beautiful – so there’s lots of reasons to love girlfriends!)
We just want to thank you for being our girlfriend and for being part of the Girlfriendology community. It’s inspiring and humbling to see the wonderful women who tweet with us, have joined our Girlfriendology community, are part of our Facebook fans and LinkedIn group, listen to our BlogTalkRadio show and just let us be a part of your life. I love how girlfriends watch out for me. They offer me great girlfriend advice, connect me with their friends, help me out with information/projects and are there for me whenever I need them. Basically, my girlfriends want the best for me. (And, I for them.)
