I met Deb in Montgomery, AL during my jr. high school years. She was smart, cute, funny and her family was nice to me. I remember spending lots of weekends hanging out there – always glad to have a place to go. (It was more fun than my house!) We were content to hang out in her room talking or go roam the mall with each other. (Funny, she met her husband of 20+ years at that mall!)

I’m so thankful for that kindness and friendship. Now we’re connected through Facebook and she looks exactly the same (even though she has grandchildren now) – seriously, just exactly the same! But what’s really beautiful is the memories I have of an old friend (who, again, doesn’t look old!) and how thankful I am for having been her friend.
