It’s always fun to meet my friends’ friends.

I get to know them better by the friends they value, learning more of their history and hearing the shared stories. And, I often make new friends from these ‘pre-endorsed’ friends.

So, in the spirit of spreading the ‘girlfriendship,’ here are a few great girlfriends you should get to know!

* JOYCE – Joyce loves being a mom and grandmother. She celebrates each child in her life at every opportunity! And, she cares so much about kids that she teaches then for her ‘day job.’ But after hours, she helps other grandmothers and mothers pass along heirlooms to their children through her online store Heirlooms to Be. Check it out for children’s clothing, furniture and toys that will be treasured for years.

* FABIENNE – She’s known since she was a little girl that she loved aromas and the impact they have on our emotions. She took this passion and bottled it! Actually, she started Possets Perfumes - a fabulous site that sells creative and quality fragrances at great prices. She really does offer affordable bottled happiness! (Fabienne and Joyce are in the photo above.)

* ROBIN - This girly-girl girlfriend loves all things fun and beautiful. She took her passion for pampering products and started Supernatural Botanicals – an eco-chic bath and body skincare company. She follows green practices and principals. Her customer pledge is to make her products without toxins, artificial colorants, or cheap fillers and to exclusively use ingredients that are beneficial to your skin and health.

* BETH ANNE – After 25 years in the apparel industry working as a designer for major retailers and other designer brands, my friend Beth Anne got tired of not being able to get the same looks in plus size career wear. So she created Realityplus Clothing Company to provide stylish, high quality and affordable plus size career clothing. Check it out and tell your girlfriends. (I love her coats – so cool!)

* MOLLY, KELLY & CAITLIN – You HAVE to meet these Cincinnati girlfriends! These girlfriends started Cooking With Caitlin a few years ago to share Caitlin’s foodie side with Cincinnati and beyond. They do several events (their ‘Third Thursday’ event is amazing! I wish I wasn’t going to be out of town for the next one!) as well as a cool website, lunches on the square in the summer, a summer TV show and a weekly radio show (“What’s Hot?!” Sundays 3pm on WKRC). Sign up for their newsletter to get caught up on all the fun stuff they’re up to!
