We change our hair, our address, jobs. We change our nail polish, underwear and, like a good female, it’s our perogative to change our mind. Life’s about changes. We grow. We move. We get good haircuts or bad ‘do’s. Things happen outside of our control or we decide to alter the path of our life. Things change.

Things are changing here at Girlfriendology. Not in a bad way at all. We’re growing. We’re excited. And we’re gearing up for a thriving community of women who support, share, learn, laugh and do life together.

What does that mean to YOU? That wonderful woman who comes to Girlfriendology.com on occasion for whatever reason (it’s fine with me!). We’re working hard to build a community that makes you want to come back more often. That you’ll be eager to return to see what’s the latest girlfriend buzz (fun, favorite stuff that we share with our girlfriends), see what’s new in the community (good girlfriend conversations like movie reviews, sharing recipes, offering tips and tricks, fashion advice, girlfriend wisdom) and all kinds of things, ways and links to make your life better – just like a good girlfriend would do.

Also, you may notice the “Cincinnati.com” badge to the right. We’re thrilled to be selected by Cincinnati.com (website for the Cincinnati Enquirer) as one of their blogs to share to their huge audience. We’re hoping to inspire women in our community of Cincinnati to be better friends, to care more about each other and to support each other. (Wouldn’t that be the greatest city if we all were there for each other?!)

A couple more changes to come – we’re going to offer girlfriend gifts. We know that BFFs love to give perfect gifts to each other so we’re working with local vendors for products made in America to share with you for your girlfriend gifts. (We can’t say they’ll all be made in America forever, but we’ll definitely try to keep it that way so we can support other companies and maintain the quality we want associated with our brand.) Things like this ring (and necklaces, bracelets, earrings and keyrings) from She Beads featuring our flower! Girlfriend gifts like custom perfume by Possets (girlfriend Fabienne is fabulous with fragrance!). And more. Watch for these to come out around National Women’s Friendship Day, Sept. 20th.

A few things aren’t changing. We’re not messing with our intention of making your life better by improving your friendships. We’re still committed to inspiring you to be better friends (so you can pass that inspiration on to your friends). We love expressing our appreciation for female friendship and reminding you to be thankful each and every day for the women who bless our lives. And we love just celebrating girlfriends.

And we’re hoping you change your online patterns just a bit and come back here on a regular basis to see what’s new, share your girlfriend advice/wisdom and get inspired. We hope you continue to tell your girlfriends about Girlfriendology and share what you learn or get/receive from our store. And we look forward to going through your good and bad haircuts together. To sharing tips that will make our and your lives better.

Changes can be good. They can strengthen our friendships and help us learn more about each other. Thanks for being the inspiration and the motivation to make these changes and we look forward to seeing great changes happen!
