And we have the awesome opportunity to make their life better with our time, consideration, support, laughter and love.

Dear Girlfriend,
In Jack Canfield’s book, ‘The Success Principles‘ (which I highly recommend!), he tells about a grandmother who upon seeing a car roll over her grandchild, found the strength to lift the car from the child. He talked with her later and she was troubled by the incident. She was struck by the realization of all the things she never did because she thought she couldn’t do them.
Girlfriend, what do you think you can’t do … or what goals do you think are unattainable? What would happen if you could … reach your dreams, change the course of your life, or be anything you wanted?!
As girlfriends, we have the wonderful opportunity to encourage and support each other in all of our challenges and goals. Why not be the friend who helps someone reach her dreams? Be the person who makes her day and helps her realize the things she CAN do. Be the kind of friend you’d love to have! (Like my thoughtful, loving friend Jill in the picture!)

Things I <3 (love!)
On Twitter I’ve found myself using <3 a lot lately. This “abbreviation” for love keeps finding its way into my tweets – I think because they make me think happy thoughts!
So, as a girlfriend, I just wanted to share a few things that I <3, like …
- How my dear friend Barb always wears jewelry/clothing I’ve given her when we get together
- My neighbor girlfriends, Anne, Linda, Judy, Karen and more, who often share life (and wine!) on Anne’s porch
- Entrepreneurial girlfriends, like Peggy, Allison and Judi, who generously spend time with me to help me and my business
- The hugs I get when I see Missy, Becky, Terri, Cath and other great gal pals
What do you <3 about your friends? Think about this a little bit and I’m sure you’ll end up smiling and having happy thoughts. Tell them how much their friendship means to you and let them inspire you to be a better friend to others. Great girlfriendship is contagious – share the <3!
