Sunday, September 20, 2009 – Girlfriend Day at the Ballet!
CINCINNATI – June 15, 2009 – In honor of National Women’s Friendship Day (Sunday, September 20th), Girlfriendology.com – the online community for women based on female friendship, and the Cincinnati Ballet are hosting a “Girlfriend Day at the Ballet.”
“We’re bringing women together for this special event to celebrate the friendships that make women healthier, happier, less stressed, live longer and even feel more beautiful. Women rarely take time out for themselves, their girlfriends or for a day at the ballet,” said Debba Haupert, founder of Girlfriendology. “We’re connecting women with friends and one of Cincinnati’s greatest arts providers.”
The Cincinnati Ballet Company will perform a special “New Works” tribute to Cincinnati for the 2:00pm performance at the Mickey Jarson Kaplan Performance Studio/Cincinnati Ballet Center. Women in the Girlfriendology group who attend the Sunday afternoon performance will receive special pricing as well as gift bags, an intermission party and post-performance treats.
The Girlfriendology community inspires women to make friends, spend time together and be a better friend. “With a growing international community through Girlfriendology.com and our online social community, we inspire and interact with women from all over the world. This Cincinnati event gives us a fabulous opportunity to create a fun, friend-filled afternoon for women in our local community. We’re thrilled to partner with Cincinnati Ballet for this special ‘Girlfriend Day at the Ballet’ where women can come alone and meet new girlfriends, or bring a bunch of BFFs.”
Created by Kappa Delta Sorority in 1999, National Women’s Friendship Day is Sunday, September 20. This day was created to provide an opportunity for women to recognize those friends who make a difference in their lives. Celebrated all over the world, National Women’s Friendship Day inspires women to reconnect with their female friends and to celebrate the women in their lives.
