Well, nonetheless, have a HAPPY BIRTHDAY whenever it is and, actually, why don’t you go ahead and celebrate you (and your girlfriends) every day of the year?!
We’re celebrating Girlfriends today and every day here at Girlfriendology. We believe this relationship with so many benefits for women (happiness, healthiness, etc.) is worthy of celebration and girlfriends just happen to be the best people with whom to celebrate!
So, plan a lunch with the girls ‘just because,’ email your college roommates and get an update on their lives, make plans for some spa time with your BFFs … just get and stay in touch with the wonderful women in your life. Life really is better – together with your girlfriends!

Happy Birthday! Whenever that may be!
Who knew it would be a Barbie week? On Monday, I spoke at a women’s event – a BIG birthday party for Barbie (who turned 50 this year but still has it going on!). What a fun bunch of females – many dressed like you-know-who!
Then yesterday, I celebrated my college roommate and BFF’s birthday – Barb (or sometimes Barbie). Having both Barbie birthdays in the same week was a bit surreal but made it a very fun, friend-filled week.
Life is about celebrating the big and little things and especially about celebrating girlfriends. And why not?! Girlfriends make us healthier, happier, less stressed, live longer and feel more beautiful – they definitely deserve celebration!
Whose friendship can you celebrate today? How can you make your girlfriend’s life better – even in little, fun ways (like a silly cake or a toy from her past?!)? Barbie isn’t the only one with something to celebrate – you can show your appreciation and admiration any time (like NOW!).

Wow, this is really a cool site for friends. I know this is about girlfriends and celebrating their special relationship but as a man with a few close friends I understand showing your appreciation and acknowledging how import my friends are to me.
