Perfect Girlfriend Gifts!
What makes a gift PERFECT?
A great gift, be it for a girlfriend, family member or anyone special to us, has to be the combination of a thoughtful, personalized present given in love by someone special. That’s a pretty great gift but now add to this a creation of one’s talent and creativity and you’ve got a priceless, memorable tangible expression of love.
With Hanukkah here and just a few days until Christmas, it may be kind of late for the pressure of finding or creating a perfect present, but we can always try to give a great gift, right?!
My girlfriend Tina gave me a ‘perfect present’ this week. First, you have to know a little more about Tina. She is a skilled interior decorator with a passion for pillows! In fact, she has an adorable shop (Casa DeLorenzo) for her pillows filled with fabrics and trim from around the world. (She also has an Etsy store with her fabulous pillows – check it out!)
Perfect present - Girlfriendology Pillow
Tina and I are both enthusiastic entrepreneurs, and knowing that this year was a little tight on both of our budgets, she totally surprised me with a perfect present! She made me a Girlfriendology pillow!! It features our iconic orange gerbera daisy and beautiful, matching trim.
What is a perfect gift?
It is the one that makes you cry. That makes you feel warm and happy, and blessed for the friend who gave it to you. It’s a wonderful reminder of your friendship, a future happy memory and a continuing personal symbol of love.
It’s this gift that Tina gave me which, to me, means that she supports my dream of growing Girlfriendology into a strong community of women who appreciate and inspire their girlfriends. And, that she loves me as a friend - an admiration that I strongly echo on her behalf. I’m a very blessed woman to have a friend like Tina and I’ll think of this blessing and friendship every time I look at this beautiful pillow she loving made me.
