If you’ve ever had the “privilege” of organizing a girlfriend getaway, you have a good idea on how much … ah…fun…this can be. Say “girls getaway” and some friends think Thelma and Louise, while others think Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

Today’s guest on the Girlfriendology podcast is the Getaway Girl – Casey Wohl. Casey is passionate about two things – girlfriends and travel. Her motto? Leave your baggage at home – and she’s not talking suitcases.

Casey Wohl, also known as The Getaway Girl™, is passionate about two things: her girlfriends and traveling the world. By combining these two loves, Wohl has created a unique and helpful city-specific travel guide series for women worldwide.

The Girls Getaway Guide to Orlando: Leave Your Baggage at Home™ is the first in the series and was published in September 2007. The second book, Girls Getaway Guide to Key West, is due to hit shelves in October 2008. Guides for additional cities are currently in production. These guides focus on where to stay, shop, eat and spa, as well as annual happenings and side trips for each city.
