Podcast #77 – Girlfriendology interviews TAMI BOEHMER, breast cancer survivor
Do you have a girlfriend who is dealing with breast cancer? A sister, Mother or friend? As the most frequent cancer among women in the U.S., with over 2 million breast cancer survivors, so many of us have friends and family dealing with this terrible disease. As a girlfriend, it’s tough to know how to be a good friend during this time.
To help us understand this situation, I invited TAMI BOEHMER to share her advice. Tami is a breast cancer survivor whose friends and family have shown incredible support for each other while going through a very disruptive time in life. And I asked Tammy to give us the insight into life as a breast cancer survivor so we can all get past the awkwardness or uncomfort and be there for our friends, like we know they’d be there for us. Tami has some great advice for being friends with any women dealing with any cancer or serious condition.
