Economic Downturn and how it impacts girlfriends?
I met with Fabienne, a new girlfriend and owner of Possets Perfumes, yesterday and we talked about how the economic situation will impact our businesses. Will Wall Street impact Fashion Avenue on our spending and shopping? What does it mean to us girlfriends?
Personally I’m an optimist and maybe somewhat in denial, but I believe we’ll be okay. We always are. Yes, things may change. We may have to alter our spending, shopping or business. Our awareness will be heightened, and having made budget cuts myself, I know that actually can be a good experience. I mean, do I really need another jean jacket or eye shadow shade (when I have an overflowing box of miscellaneous make-up!)?
Simplifying life can be a good thing. Less spending could equal less stuff to deal with, less trash we create, less driving to the store or less stuff to clean. Less can mean more. It could mean freeing up more time and then spending it with friends. That’s a great bonus and well worth wearing the same jean jacket as I have for the past few years!
Also yesterday I talked with my great girlfriend Jody about the economic situation and how she’s responded with her company BuzZen. (BuzZen is an online community designed to help women reach their dreams – very cool ‘hive’!) She is excited about what’s ahead for her company. They’re offering more classes and events for women to awaken to new methods of creating success and joy in their businesses.
If you’re in business and want to energize your success or just have a passion you want to pursue, I’d encourage you to check out BuzZen’s new teleseminar. Below are the details. But I don’t need details when it comes to Jody. She’s a girlfriend who is pursuing her dreams and helping other women do the same. It’s very exciting – no matter what is up on Wall Street or Washington. Check out BuzZen, visit Possets (look for some amazing Halloween and natural fragrances!) and, if you are shopping, patronize entrepreneurs who are following their dreams.
And if that entrepreneur is you, check out this FREE teleseminar event as BuzZen Co-founder, Jody England, and Head Beekeeper, Donna Fleetwood teach you:
- Specific strategies and tactics you can use to proceed with more confidence and certainty – regardless of economic conditions.
- The 6 MISTAKES you may be guilty of making that kill your business and drain your profits
- Why you may be oblivious to critical details that cause you to miss opportunities and stay stuck in old patterns
- How simply shifting your focus can lead to bigger sales and more customers
It’s time for you to Get Your Business BuzZen! If you haven’t registered yet for this FREE teleseminar, do it now. Give yourself permission to spend an hour being good to yourself and increase your bottom line too! What’s not to love about that?!
Learn more about the class and register HERE!
And, girlfriends, what is your advice for dealing with this economic situation?
p.s. Come back on 10/12 for our podcast interview with Judith Stephens – the money lady. She isn’t going along with this recession and will talk about how you don’t need to either!
