New Girlfriendology team member, Penny, has a ‘get her done’ kind of attitude. She is taking on the contests with an energy that I haven’t been able to give them with all the other great things going on at Girlfriendology. She has them planned out for the next six months so make sure you participate!

For the record, Penny isn’t only a dang smart, energetic, creative woman – she is also a very good friend. She’s one of the only friends that I would let into the darkest region of my basement, aka: the ’shipping department!’ We’ll introduce her ‘formally’ in the coming days but we just wanted to let you know that the prizes are on their way and that they’ll be timely in the future!

And, with July having 50 prizes (!) it took Penny all day to package and ship but it still felt great to see them fly off to so many of you in appreciation for sharing your wonderful girlfriend stories. We’ve posted some of the winning stories on Girlfriendology and remind you to send in your stories for the August Contest and also for The Girlfriend Picture Project.

Girlfriendology tries to be green in all we do. We recycle paper, try not to print (actually, our printer is in bad shape so that helps the cause!) and are on the look-out for green products to offer girlfriends. As Penny is showing in the photo, many of the prizes will arrive in recycled packaging. So, if it looks a little funky, it’s because we’re trying to ‘get her done’ and be a girlfriend to mother earth.
