Month of Friendship – Day 2: Girlfriend Gratitude

September 2, 2010 – 12:04 pm

Friendship girlfriends Carole and DebbaIt’s Thankful Thursday in this Month of Friendship!

My friend Carole is awesome (left in photo). Recently she’s been through ’stuff’ (medical and relationship not-so-fun stuff), yet she comes out of it with her passionate personality and super-sized heart fully engaged. This past weekend we shared a cup of coffee and a fun conversation – and not virtually, face-to-face where we could share hugs, conversations and smiles. She’s that kind of friend with whom you pick up where you left off. She’s also the Read More »

September 1, 2010 – 3:23 pm

Friendship Kandi JaegerDid you know it’s predicted that one in four women will suffer from Uterine Cancer in their lifetime?

So when KANDI JAEGER approached Girlfriendology about sharing information on Uterine Cancer, we knew it was going to be great girlfriend advice and info. As she shares, September is Gynecological Cancer Awareness Month so it’s perfect timing for sharing this information with your girlfriends. Month of Friendship: Needing new Friends is Normal!

August 31, 2010 – 1:33 pm

Friendship Shasta Girlfriend CirclesDo you have friends nearby? Do you need some new friends in your life?

It’s so important to have a support system of friends. So important! While online and long distance friends are amazing, sometimes you just need to go have a glass of wine or get a manicure together with your ‘bestie’ (BFF). What happens when your BFF is across the country? Is that normal to need new friends?

It’s September and we’re celebrating the Month of Friendship with some of our girlfriends, like SHASTA NELSON who share this inspiration with us on what’s the norm when it comes to friends. Enjoy!

Needing New Friends is Normal!

We show our love on Valentine’s Day, our gratitude on Thanksgiving and our history on the 4th of July. We even go so far as to recognize our passions with National Ice Cream Month and Rubber Duckie Day, our fears – National Mold Awareness Month (yikes!) and pretend everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day.

We’ve got a holiday for just Read More »
