February 5, 2010 – 12:25 am
Are you here in Nashville for Blissdom – the great conference for women bloggers?
If so, look for me – I’m wearing the Girlfriendology orange flower.
There’s about 500 of us female blissful bloggers who are passionate about the blogosphere and social media. We’re poken-ing (a social media tool for connecting), sharing, connecting and learning together (in true Girlfriendology women-supporting-women fashion).
First, a HUGE thanks to the sponsors who made this affordable for all of us to attend: Read More »

Daily Inspiration: No Matter What ‘They’ Say
February 3, 2010 – 3:06 pm

“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”
Eleanor Roosevelt
It’s day two of a four day juice cleanse for me. (After going to Genesis Today last week and learning about all their products, I’m trying to get healthier – and I’m going to share this knowledge and journey with my girlfriends because I want you to be healthy too!)
It’s a strange discipline – to go without food. I’m not really hungry but I just kinda miss snacking. I feel good and honestly I never thought I could go a day or two without meals, without being really grumpy! (Which I’m not!) Read More »

Looking for the Book Club?
February 1, 2010 – 7:40 pm
Tonight is our first official girlfriend BOOK CLUB and we’re excited!
For one thing, we all read a really interesting book – “The Glass Castle,” by Jeannette Walls. AND, we’re all getting together online to chat about it. MONDAY, February 1 – 7-9pm EST
How?
Sign into the Girlfriendology community (for women only!) and click this link. Then add a comment following other comments. We’ll see how it goes! And, if you can’t join us at the time of the call, you can still read all the comments and add your own!
AND, we’ll discuss what book we’re reading for February!

Love how girlfriends celebrate together (The Genesis Today trip)
January 31, 2010 – 2:15 pm
Who do you call when you have good (or bad) news?
Me? Usually I call my husband then I call my girlfriends. (Admittedly, sometimes I call the girls first!) I feel blessed with amazing friends who aren’t jealous when great things come my way and who know I’m there for them as well for good or bad news.
Well, this week I was thrilled to make some of those calls where my girlfriends and I celebrated together when I was announced the winner of the Genesis Today “Genesis of a Great Idea” social media contest. (Actually, I think my girlfriends may have been more excited than even I was!) Read More »

Hope, friendship and really good juice
January 30, 2010 – 5:32 pm

Disclaimer upfront – Girlfriendology is all about women supporting women – regardless of our differences, beliefs and convictions. I want all women to feel welcome here so I don’t discuss religion, politics or controversial issues typically. The following blog does note some of my personal beliefs and if you’re offended by that or not interested, feel free to visit other areas of Girlfriendology. I just feel the need to express the following and hope you’re open to sharing with me too.
Hope, friendship and really good juice
I couldn’t commit to a weekly gig, or even a monthly routine of volunteering but I felt the need to get involved in my community.
