“
The goal must not be to find a job, but to become a magnificent woman.”
Marianne Williamson
What’s the first thing most people ask when they meet at a party? Not … Are you a nice person? What makes you smile? Or … Who gave you the best hug you’ve ever had?
No. It’s usually: What do you do for a living? What’s your JOB? But does the title of your job actually define you? Does it give insight into who you really are? Does it tell me what makes you happy or what your dreams are?
If you’re doing what you love and it is meeting your passions, you go girl! But sometimes we struggle with what we want our legacy to be, our life calling, our answer to questions from strangers at parties.
Shouldn’t our goal in life just be to be happy and to make others so? Shouldn’t we strive for kindness and thoughtfulness, hope and peace? And shouldn’t the ultimate goal be to love ourselves and each other?
The next time you get ‘the question,‘ tell ‘um. “I’m a great friend.” “I write really nice thank you notes.” “I make my girlfriends laugh and cheer them up when they need it.” or “I’m magnificent!”
Because you are! So, you’ve already met your goal – cool! And your friends are lucky to call you their girlfriend. They know … life really is better together with your girlfriends!
Have a fun, friend-filled Tuesday!

SPECIAL TUESDAY Girlfriendology BlogTalkRadio guest: RACHEL WRIGHT, author/founder of “Mom’s Night Out”
We had a great BlogTalkRadio interview with JENNIFER DAVIS and CATHY LIGGETT of BEADED HOPE last week. LISTEN IN!
Who could use a break? If you are a mom, you probably raised both hands at once. That’s why our special guest today, author RACHEL WRIGHT, founded a new holiday for all of us over-worked, under-appreciated moms. “National Mom’s Night Out” is MARCH 18th and it’s a celebration to encourage moms to leave the little ones and hubby at home for one night. It’s a guilt-free excuse for moms to go have fun with girlfriends and reconnect with who they are besides being a mom. JOIN US!
Call (347)426-3761 or listen online at BlogTalkRadio.com/Girlfriendology, TODAY 11am PST/2pm EST.
