Most of the materials are supplied at the workshops, but to avoid a wait while sharing with your Hot Gun sisters…it would be helpful if you could bring you own items from the list above. If you’d like, you can also bring some trinkets from home with you to embellish your projects (trims, buttons, ephemera, rhinestones, thread, etc. Some ideas for your workshop kit from home:
• Favorite paper ephemera (vintage postcards, vintage wallpaper scraps, vintage book pages, etc.)
• Vintage photos, postcards, snapshots, etc.
• Rhinestone buckles, broaches, necklaces, earbobs, etc.
• Floral items, vintage millinery, silk flowers.
• Needle, yarn, embroidery floss, trim such as seam binding, velvet, lace, etc.
• Buttons, keys,
• small 3-D elements things you could add to collage/altered projects such as crystals, small glass knobs, wooden letters, etc..
We don’t expect you to have to bring all of the items to attend, but part of the fun might be trading and sharing your items with others. You can also use them in to personalize your creations in a very special and unique way.
Please consider our invitation. We would love for you to join us in our most creative endeavor!
