The Ultimate Blog Party is a virtual party celebrating online friendships.

Created and hosted by our girlfriends at 5 Minutes for Mom, this blog party brings together thousands of bloggers who share about themselves, visit each other’s blogs and help spread the word about the amazing blogosphere.

Happening over April 9-16, there are lots of ways to “party with bloggers” online – like a Twitter party for tonight (10-11pm EST #ubp10)  and an online concert with Chris Mann on April 14. (If you’re a blogger and want to participate, you can find info here. Go for it!)

The guidelines say participants should post a blog about themselves (so we all get to know each other better). So here goes …

Me? Debba Haupert – former corporate marketing girl who has a passion for being an entrepreneur – and is obsessed with inspiring women to have better friendships. I started Girlfriendology in 2006 as an online community for women based on inspiration, appreciation and celebration of girlfriends. We have a monthly online book club, girlfriend gifts, Facebook and LinkedIn groups and share inspiration through lots of blogs, contests and BlogTalkRadio interviews with inspiring women! We’re also part of the Cincinnati.com ‘Locals on Living’ blogger network and a co-founder of Cincinnati Women Bloggers.

On a personal site, I’m married to Greg (and we’re doing a blog about going to breakfast in each of Cincinnati’s 52 neighborhoods in 2010) and have no kids – aside from a spoiled, scaredy-cat golden retriever, Brando, and an 18-year old cat, Tom Anderson (named by a friends’ child – who is now out of college!).

I’m very blessed with great girlfriends like my friends shown here from my church. I have fabulous friends from college, Minneapolis (where we lived previously) and Cincinnati (where we live now on a great street with fun neighbors and a loud, but always wonderful women’s book club), friends from previous jobs and girlfriends that I walk with whenever we can. I’m also blessed with friends from Twitter, some of the blogger conferences I attend (like the upcoming Savvy Blogging Summit, SITS Bloggy Bootcamp – Phoenix) and just connecting women women in the blogosphere.

So, that’s my blog party introduction. I can’t wait to meet more bloggers who are sharing about their lives and celebrating friendship on this Ultimate Blogger Party.
