‘Surrounded by smart, savvy, socially-connected women’ is how I’d describe the Blissdom Conference< I attended last week in Nashville. 500 women bloggers from around the world gathered to learn, share and connect.

From advertising to writing, social media to technology, we helped each other

become more knowledgeable and confident. It was a wonderful gathering of amazing women who are making things happen. They’re following their passion and making giant steps toward their dreams!

I love being around women like those from Blissdom. I love their generosity with sharing inspiration, information and fabulous ideas. I totally enjoy the creative, positive, feminine energy that you can feel when you just enter a ballroom of women. And I love how much I constantly learn from women and how it reminds me that I can do amazing things too.

Like Eleanor said: You must do the thing you think you cannot do. That’s what gets you up in the morning excited about the day. That’s what energizes you and directs you toward being the fabulous woman you know you have inside you.

Surround yourself with supportive, inspiring friends who will cheer you on in achieving your dreams. And, do the same for them. Life really is better, together with your girlfriends!
