Welcome Ladies to the Super Bowl of Friendship!

It’s not the Steelers vs. the Cardinal, or even men vs. women – there’s only one winner and that’s friendship

(at least as how we see it here at Girlfriendology!). But we’re still celebrating the biggest sports event of the year with some girlfriend inspiration, appreciation and celebration!
Although it doesn’t get million dollar ads and high-energy (and calorie) parties, shouldn’t friendship get Super Bowl-worthy attention and celebration?! Shouldn’t we be cheerleaders for all our sisters and throw parties in honor of our friends?

Actually, yes. Our BFFs deserve all this and more. But we really don’t need an annual event just a little more daily recognition of the Super Women who bless our lives with their friendship. And, that’s what Girlfriendology is here to do – inspire all of us to appreciate and celebrate girlfriends.

And, speaking of Super Women, THANKS to all of you who participated in our survey. YOU ROCK! We found out that you’re super women too! You all generally deal with way too much stuff (not a surprise, right?). You’re married, single, with kids and parents to care for, financial concerns, health/fitness challenges, struggles with stress and organization.

We have a lot of things in common and we’ll be addressing these in the coming months. Together we want to make our girlfriends’ lives better so watch for programs/products to help you and your girlfriends. And, if you have more ideas, we’d love to hear them! Thanks Super Woman!

    February birthday girlfriend gifts
Remember when we were kids and we gave Valentine’s Day cards to everyone? Get that same feeling of making others’ day by giving your girlfriends a gift or card for Valentine’s Day. Here are a few great girlfriend gift ideas!

And, for those February birthday girlfriends, warm them up like their friendship does you with a thoughtful gift just for them!

“You can gain more friends by being yourself than you can by putting up a front. You can gain more friends by building people up than you can by tearing them down. And you can gain more friends by taking a few minutes from each day to do something kind for someone, whether it be a friend or a complete stranger. What a difference one person can make!” Sasha Azevedo

What can you do to be a Super Friend? Maybe it’s just by listening (like we shared last week) or it’s inviting a friend over for the Super Bowl so you can watch the game (or commercials) together. Just make an effort. Then share your thoughts and experiences with Girlfriendology so you can inspire others.

Want Super Friends? Be one. And have a super weekend!

    THANKS Girlfriend!  Your friend,
